The question is, HOW is one "stuck in the system"?
If one is a dtudent and is stuck because s/he is physically imrpisoned by
various forces, one can't blame her/him for dealing with it by whatever means
one can -- including swallowing ones pride and pretending that one believes the
school has that kind of authority.
However, there is no excuse for an adult making apologies for the system.
