Actually I got riled on this list and did that once. Felt bad about it.
However, I honestly think that's more a symptom of online communication and
doesn't really have anything to do with the folks on this particular list.
I've seen a lot of discussion lists, and the "you're an idiot, go away"
thing is perhaps largely just a prevalent internet phenomenon.
The only time I feel like telling people to go away is when they look me and
our happily functioning school in the eye and say there's no way a school
like this could work. Kind of like me telling our neighbors with beaker
twins that there's no way they could make test-tube babies...
